Terms of Service

The short version: KiruLaya plays music you already own, on your own device. We do not take anything from you, and we do not promise more than we can keep.

These terms are deliberately short. KiruLaya has no account, no subscription and no server that holds your data. Most of what long terms documents exist to govern simply does not happen here.

What KiruLaya is

KiruLaya is a hi-res music player that runs entirely on your device. It reads and plays audio files that are already on your device, or that you open with it. There is no sign in and no account.

Your licence to use the app

We give you a personal, non transferable licence to use KiruLaya on devices you own or control. You may not resell the app, or attempt to extract and redistribute parts of it as your own product. That is the whole of the restriction.

Your music is your responsibility

KiruLaya plays the files you point it at. You are responsible for having the right to those files. We do not supply music, we do not host music, and we cannot verify what you play.

What we do not do

We do not collect analytics, telemetry or tracking data. The Privacy Policy is the detail.
We do not show advertising.
We do not upload, scan or share your library.

Purchases

KiruLaya is free to use today. If a one time unlock is offered in future, the purchase is handled entirely by the App Store or Google Play. Refunds follow that store's policy, because they hold the transaction and we do not.

What we can and cannot promise

We build this carefully and we use it ourselves. But KiruLaya is provided as it is. We cannot promise it will be free of faults, or that it will play every file format on every device, or that a future operating system update will not break something. If it fails, our responsibility is limited to the amount you paid for the app, which today is nothing.

Please keep your own backups of your music. KiruLaya reads your files, but it is a player and not a storage service.

Stopping

You can stop at any time by deleting the app. Nothing is held on our side, so there is nothing to close and nothing to request back.

Changes

If these terms change we will update this page and the date at the top. Material changes will be noted in the app.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the place from which KiruS AI operates. Nothing here removes any right you have under the consumer law of your own country.
