The short version: KiruLaya collects nothing. Your music never leaves your device.

KiruLaya is a hi-res, on-device music player. It reads and plays audio files stored on your device (and files you open with it). Your music, playlists, and playback data stay on your device. We do not upload, scan, or share your library.

What we collect

Nothing. No account is required to play your music.
No analytics, no telemetry, no tracking, no advertising.
We do not collect your identity, your library contents, or your listening habits.

Permissions we use

Media / files access — to find and play the audio you choose.
Background audio — to keep playing when the app is in the background or the screen is locked.

These permissions are used only to play your music. Nothing is transmitted off your device.

Data retention & deletion

Everything KiruLaya holds is local to your device. Remove content in the app, or uninstall KiruLaya, to clear it. We hold nothing on our servers — there is nothing for us to delete.

Purchases

If a future one-time unlock is offered, purchase validation is handled entirely by the App Store or Google Play. We never receive your card or payment details.

Children

KiruLaya is a general-audience music player. It collects no personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and its date. Material changes will be noted in the app.
